- Pricing Protection Until April 4th – OEMs will price protect all trucks with a firm schedule date through April 4th from tariff-related increases.
- $3,000 Tariff Surcharge Starting April 7th – Any truck scheduled for production between April 7th and May 30th will have a mitigated tariff surcharge of $3,000 added.
- Last Chance to Lock in Current Prices – Orders placed before March 28th for trucks with a requested delivery date (RDD) in April or May will avoid higher surcharges. Any trucks pulled up from June or later into this period will also qualify.
Massive Cost Increases After March 28th – Orders placed after March 28th for production in April or May will be subject to the full, unmitigated tariff surcharge.
These tariffs are a direct result of the new trade policies enacted to adjust tariffs on imports from Canada and Mexico. While intended to protect domestic manufacturing, these changes are leading to significant price spikes in the trucking industry.
